Dr. Brichford is really hard and does not do his grading fairly. You can't read his hand writing in order to take notes in his class. Also, when you go to ask for help from another professor ; they cant read his writing or they don't know what he is teaching. He also leaves rude remarks on your paper/papers. I would not recommend anyone taking any of his courses.
You will have to read and write for every class. Usually one in-class essay (mid year exam, even though he doesn't call it that at first) and one out of class essay, along with an essay final. Grades difficult, but that should be expected. friendly guy, but a difficult and sometimes dull class.
I love his teaching style; it's amazing. The class will only be fun if you enjoy literature. If you need, help go to his office. He'll help you realize what you need to improve on by making you think about it rather than just spoon feeding you the answers. I will definitely take more of his courses. :)
Very fascinating. Doesn't use exams but papers. Likeable prof. |
