Coleman Paul Price
Gone, but never forgotten
Coleman Paul Price, 26, of Ripley, West Virginia passed away Monday morning, October 27, 2014 at his home following a sudden illness. He was born July 3, 1988 in Upshur County, West Virginia. He was the son of Paul Douglas Price and the late Ellen Plechner Bailey. He was a graduate of Upshur County High School and graduated from Concord University in May 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing where he was a proud brother of Chi Omega Psi Fraternity. He is survived by his Father, Paul Douglas Price of Athens, WV; An infant son; Sister, Dr. Erin Samantha Price of Morgantown; Grandfather, Col. Richard Plechner of New Jersey; Grandmother, Eleanor Garrettson of Ohio. A service celebrating the life of Coleman Paul Price will be announced at a later date.
The Concord Univesity campus is deeply saddened by the news of Price’s passing. Brothers of Chi Omega Psi organized a cookout in memory of Coleman Price on Monday afternoon at Witherspoon Park, adjacent to the Athens campus. With an open invitation for anyone to attend, many members of the Concord Family came out to support one another during this time of grief. The Brothers of COY wish to extend their deepest gratitude for everyone’s outpouring of love, kindness, and support during this difficult time.
