TRACK 1Students who wish to complete some or all coursework in English during the standard semester will select track 1. Students can choose to complete up to three courses in English or take a combination of courses in English and Spanish. Some courses in Spanish are offered primarily for visiting international students, while other courses can be completed with Argentine peers. In past semesters, a combination of the following courses have been offered in English: Fall: Latin American Cinema, Argentine Modern Art, Latin America in the International System; Spring: Art Film and Literature, Political and Economic History of Argentina, Latin America in the International System.
TRACK 2
Students selecting track 2 have the option of completing all of their coursework with local Argentine students in Spanish or selecting from a limited number of courses that are designed for visiting international students but taught in Spanish. All UTDT courses are generally equivalent to 4 U.S. semester credits, and students typically complete 2-3 courses during the semester. Pre-Departure Services: Advising, @api Online Resources, Orientation Materials and Support, Mobile Phone, Peer Mentors, Social Networking, Scholarships On-Site Services: Airport Reception, Resident Directors and Staff, API Center, Housing (including meals and laundry with host families), Tuition, Tutoring, Language and Culture Tools, Medical and Life Insurance, Excursions (overnight and international), Social and Cultural Activities, Welcome and Farewell Group Meals, Volunteer Opportunities Re-Entry Services: Re-Entry Materials and Support, Post-Program Evaluation, Transcript, Alumni Network and Development Opportunities
