With a mission of making sure clients attain precisely what they want in a “New York
Minute”, Erin Alls is rising to the top of the real estate world. Alls is currently Vice President of
Maison International Properties with offices in New York City and Los Angeles, and owner and
founder of Silicon Beach Luxury Homes in Los Angeles. Specializing in luxury real estates and
beach front properties, Alls is a realtor and broker with cash buyers from New York to Los
Angeles and all over the world. Featured in the Financial Times & on Spot Lite Radio, she was
named Top Residential Agent of the Week by Real Deal Publication and is an exceptional real
estate broker with an average of ten transactions per month.
Alls graduated from Concord College [now University] in 2002 with a B.A. in
Communication Arts with an emphasis in broadcasting. She was the producer of the first video
yearbook on DVD for the West Virginia International Film Festival and was also producer and
director of Concord’s TV workshop program Alls That Stuff.
Alls got an early start on the real estate path. Prior to attending Concord, she grew up
working summers, after school, and weekends at her family's real estate firm in Northern
Virginia. She has developed a “strong work ethic and gained invaluable experience in marketing,
renting, helping others, and overseeing select properties.”
She has not always believed that real estate is the path she wanted to follow. “Growing
up my father would tell me “when you do real estate”[…] I fought against this concept for a long
time. I never thought I would be doing real estate for a living, because the last thing I wanted to
do was what my parents did,” says Alls.
She was accepted to Concord College on a provisionary acceptance, meaning she had a
chance to show Concord that she could handle college by taking two courses and passing them.
Alls admits that she never had much of an interest in school until Concord made her change her
perspective. She made it through provisionary acceptance to graduate with a 3.45 grade point
average.
Upon graduation from Concord College, Alls took a brief detour on her real estate career
path and headed to New York City to work in the film and television industry. She was Acting
Program Liaison and Workshop Producer with New York Film Academy for more than three
years. While living in the New York City, Alls discovered that she was meant to follow her “true
calling: "match making" the right property with the right client.” Alls adds, “I uncovered a genuine knack for assisting clients in purchasing hard-to-find luxury properties, renting
previously unlisted lofts, and locating distinctive apartments.”
In 2003, Alls worked as Associate Broker with Maison International in New York. After
nine years, she was granted the opportunity to head up expansion to Los Angeles for Maison
International. Alls soon realized she was a “natural at helping others reach their financial and life
goals.” Having offices in both Los Angeles and New York City allows Alls to “leverage
knowledge and experience from coast to coast.”
She says, “Through frequent networking, social media, and a steady establishment of
industry connections, I have consistently assisted clients both locally and internationally in the
marketing and selling of property through customer-focused commitment.”
Alls is most proud of being named Vice President of Maison International, becoming a
Bi-Coastal Broker, and operating a successful Real Estate firm in Silicon Beach, Los
Angeles. With more than thirteen years of experience, she mostly handles luxury real estate
properties within the price range of $700,000 to $5 million. Alls said her top accomplishment
however, has been finding the love of her life, Mr. Fabio Borges to share her happiness, “I feel
blessed to have such a successful, thoughtful, and handsome partner.”
Alls said she struggled at Concord to pass Dr. Ronald Burgher’s communication law
class. “This is the class where I really learned what studying was and how to do it properly. If it
was not for Concord College giving me that chance, I really can’t say where I would be right
now.” Concord has prepared Alls for her career by giving her “the tools she needed to make her
own decisions in life and in business.”
“It also gave me the opportunity to grow and learn outside of my family’s nest. My whole
experience at Concord helped shape my adult life and taught me to be true to myself. I will be
forever grateful for the wonderful times I had while being there,” says Alls.
If she could instill one thing in students everywhere, Alls says it would be to not let
anyone ever tell you that you cannot or will not do something. “You are the gatekeeper of your
destiny. Be yourself.”
Alls added that the most important thing is to remember who you are in order to be
successful in today’s world. “I still remember at the end of the day, I am just a girl from Virginia
trying to make her way out there in the great unknown. The one thing that is known is, who I am,
where I came from and I am not changing for anyone.”
