Hints for Halloween

Halloween is an occasion that’s enjoyed by people of all ages. Though trick-or-treating is something more of a kids-only activity, teenagers and adults should be able to have Halloween fun as well, especially students here on campus who are too busy putting their money into books and other educational necessities. They hardly have any pocket money left to buy some fun and delicious Halloween treats. Luckily, some 

    Halloween events that take place here on campus provided some Halloween fun, as well as some treats for college students.

    If you’re not into trick–or-treating, perhaps you like to party. Parties are also a great way to celebrate Halloween. It could be a block party or a private party with your friends. Either way, the key essentials to a good Halloween party are food, soda, music, and obviously, costumes. Costumes are exciting to see and wear. There a great variety among the costumes here on campus. It won’t be the casual skeletons, ghosts, or vampires. There’s a possibility of scary and most likely explicit costumes like werewolves, zombies, murderers, and exotic costumes. 

    This is college, so there’s also a great chance of seeing costumes that young adults put time into making. You might see a really awesome costume of one of your favorite superheroes, like Batman, r you could see some iconic movie or video game characters.

     As for the general Halloween safety rules, most are rules we heard over and over again as kids. We are independent and can definitely look after ourselves. There are however, some safety precautions that need to be taken into consideration. 

    During Halloween, lots of people get out into the community to engage in the events. This includes various kinds of people, quite possibly lunatics. When you’re out doing something on Halloween night, make sure you’re with your friends. People by themselves are easy targets, especially if they’re small. With friends around, you can look after one another and be safe. Plus, who wouldn’t want to hang out with their friends anyway? 

    And if you want to get drunk on Halloween, do it in the privacy of your dorm or somebody else’s. Unfortunately there are cops out there who know that drinking parties will take place on Halloween. 

    And they will be itching to bust some drunken students, most definitely underage drinkers. So show the police wrong by keeping your drinking parties private and out of the public. Don’t go out there with alcohol in your system. The last thing you want to do on Halloween is spend a night in jail as The Bride of Frankenstein. You should be safe from this horror if you play it on the safe side and isolate parties involving alcohol.

     So if you’re excited to have fun on Halloween, make sure to do it in a smart and safe manner, though feel free to express yourself because this is college. We’re have a lot more freedom in college. In other words, this Friday, have a fun Halloween night.
