As college students in the digital age, there’s little we can do to escape from that not so age old phrase “There’s an App for that”. We grew into a world of iPhones, Androids, and Windows evolving and changing, doing their best to fit our growing needs and the needs of the generations behind us.

So while we wait on that Do-It-All College app, here are a few free ones that can help you out.

StudyBlue- Never lose another five by eight again with StudyBlue. This is an app that not only allows you to create, design, and edit your own flash cards, but it also allows you to score yourself and track your progress over time. You can even team up with classmates and swap f lash card decks right in the app, not to mention the over 150 million student decks that you can pick from and use.

EasyBib - If you dread cita- tions and the mere thought of MLA versus APA con- fuses you to no end, then fear no more. This app lets you manage a works cited to make any English Professor proud. All you do is scan the bar code on the back of the book and watch as EasyBib gives you the citations for MLA, APA, and Chicago style. You even have the ability to export and email them to yourself. While the App may still not be able to handle magazines or online articles yet, it certainly is a great way to get started.

IFTTT - It stands for “If This, Then That” could be your new favorite recipe book. But these recipes have nothing to do with flour, eggs, or sugar.

This app allows you to choose a trigger event, like rain in tomorrow’s forecast, and then an action to follow it every time it happens, like a text re- minding you to grab your um- brella before you walk out of your foyer. With over 65 con- nections to choose from like email, SMS, Weather, Twitter, Facebook, settings, and even Nike Fuel Band you may never forget turn down your sound when you have class again.

Mobile Banking- As broke college students, we all rec- ognize the struggle of trying to keep our budget balanced. The best way to keep on top of your finances is by going mobile with your banking. Most of banks will offer some kind of mobile banking app that will allow you handle your balance, pay bills, and even snap a picture of your check to deposit it.

Tinder - Welcome to the world of college dating online. Tinder is pretty simple to use with a swipe style interface that allows you to swipe left if they don’t catch your eye, or right if you feel a spark. If they swipe right on you as well, it’s a mutual match and it puts you in contact with each other through a messaging system. It’s like cupid found a homing device on college campuses across the nation, matching one swipe at a time.
