Meet the Staff

Many on campus who may know me know me as Carolyn Chonoles. Recently I’ve started going by and writing under my Hebrew name, Tsivia. I am a senior majoring in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations and minoring in History and Communications. I’ve always held an interest in newspaper-work and when I initially started college had aims of becoming a journalist; that still may happen, who knows? This semester I will be writing in and submitting my articles from Nepal, where I am completing my internship requirement.

My name is Amy Ahern and I am currently a sophomore here at Concord University, and I am double majoring in Secondary English Education and English with Literature Emphasis. Last semester was the first time I became interested in writing for the Concordian as I took upon my first journalism class. My time spent in the class I had gained a broader understanding of the writing world and loved being able to share my thoughts. Now as I begin this journey, I am looking forward to sharing my writing to my fellow peers, hoping to inform, and entertain my readers!
