Meet the Staff
Many on campus who may know me know me as Carolyn Chonoles. Recently I’ve started going by and writing under my Hebrew name, Tsivia. I am a senior majoring in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations and minoring in History and Communications. I’ve always held an interest in newspaper-work and when I initially started college had aims of becoming a journalist; that still may happen, who knows? This semester I will be writing in and submitting my articles from Nepal, where I am completing my internship requirement.
My name is Tyler D’Angelo. I am pursuing a degree in pre-professional chemistry (pre-pharmacy). I am writing for the Concordian to broaden my horizons. As I pursue my PharmD degree, I think that it will benefit me to have more of a well-rounded undergraduate education.
My name is Anastasiia Vorobeva. I am from Yoshkar-Ola, Russia. I have a BS in Tourism Management from Volga State University of Technology, Russia. I am currently a senior, double majoring in Journalism and Graphic Design and Advertising.
My name is Lydia McGee, sophomore, journalism major minoring in pre-law. I joined the Concordian to begin building my portfolio and to help add to the students’ experiences on campus as we report on important subjects.
My name is Amy Ahern and I am currently a sophomore here at Concord University, and I am double majoring in Secondary English Education and English with Literature Emphasis. Last semester was the first time I became interested in writing for the Concordian as I took upon my first journalism class. My time spent in the class I had gained a broader understanding of the writing world and loved being able to share my thoughts. Now as I begin this journey, I am looking forward to sharing my writing to my fellow peers, hoping to inform, and entertain my readers!
Hello, My name is Cassidy D’Angelo and I am your new Editor-in-Chief this semester! This is my second semester being on the staff for the Concordian. I am excited to learn more of what goes on behind the scenes with the editing process and layout of the paper. As always, I am looking forward to keeping our readers updated with important news and events.
