ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University Athletic Department presents Sabika & Coach Bingo on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014. The fundraiser will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Main Gym of the Carter Center on the Athens campus.
Proceeds benefit the Concord University Athletic Training Department and the Concord University Cheerleading Program.
“This event is important because it will help raise money for the cheerleaders to attend the UCA College National Competition in Orlando, Fla. and also help raise funds for the Athletic Training Department,” Sara Blankenship, head cheerleading coach, said. “The athletic training program hopes to update the actual training room facilities.”
Advance tickets are available for $20. Tickets will be $25 at the door the night of the event. Twenty games will be played. Door prizes and refreshments will also be part of the evening.
